Downtown Hartford Antennas Page 5

Film of the Hindenburg flying low over Hartford, Connecticut, in October 1936.

Seems to be filmed from the roof of one of the Travelers Insurance Company's buildings, probably taken by a news person.

You can see the Grove St. towers as it flies over them.

Visible is Travelers tower building and the now-gone WTIC radio tower.

At the very end of the clip is footage of several people on the roof of the building that is on the corner of Central Row and Main Street in Hartford.

Thanks to John Ramsey for bringing this to our attention.
