1960 - Announcers Bob Ellsworth, Dick Bertel, Ed Anderson and Bruce Kern in studio F of the Travelers Grove Street building studios.  

Notice the two side by side microphones on the table in front of them.  These were used in WTIC's very early AM-FM stereo broadcasts which were heard on Sunday afternoons.  One channel went out on AM, the other on FM.  Listeners were instructed to place an AM and FM radio next to each other to experience the stereo effect.  Stereo symphonic records were played by splitting the channels.
