Hugabonne, Chief Engineer of WTIC found these slides in a desk drawer
at the transmitter site in front of the old analog television
transmitter and main AM transmitter.
The box had a
piece of scotch tape which had the words 'Transmitter Slides' written
in magic marker. He assumed that these were retired slides or
duplicates that were intended for emergency use to be aired directly
from the transmitter site. Presumably at one time perhaps there was
equipment residing at the transmitter site that would allow direct
insertion of these slides into the air chain.
